The faculty and staff at IYDV congratulate soprano Rebecca Pedersen on winning another prestigious vocal competition, taking first prize at the Licia-Albanese Puccini Vocal Competition in New York City. In addition to the $10,000 award, Rebecca earned the opportunity to return to New York in the Fall to sing in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
Rebecca studies with voice teacher Darrell Babidge at BYU who is also IYDV’s Director of the Emerging Singers and Young Professional Programs.
