A dear friend to the IYDV passed away on recently: Carol Franc Buck was a generous donor, through her Foundation, to the Institute and her strong belief in our mission was an inspiration to all of us. Instilled with a love of music at a young age, she created the Carol Franc Buck Foundation to support the performing and visual arts and was instrumental in the development of Classical Tahoe, a summer festival. She was a dedicated member of the community and served on a number of Boards. Carol will be sadly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
